Are you a New Pilot or have a need for support as you gain confidence in this hobby? Don't worry-we have fantastic trainers at GRC that can help you! Reach out to our Club Officers and talk through the options available.
What do you need?

For our club, and all others, you are required to carry an AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) membership.
This membership provides insurance and other benefits to both new and seasoned pilots

You are required to register and maintain a recreational flyer FAA number. Cost is low and it is valid for 3 years.

You will need to complete the application and pay a one-time initiation fee of $100 plus the appropriate annual dues ($70 for regular membership, seniors $45 & juniors $10)

Once you've completed the first 3 steps and successfully joined our club, you must make your first flight with a club officer. For officer contact information, click below!
Flight Simulators are a Great Option for Beginners Young and Old!
Worried you will crash that beautiful new trainer, or are you comfortable with the trainer you have, but really want to see that P-51 Mustang soar? In addition to chatting with our great trainers here in the club-we've watched many folks achieve success quicker with some simulator experience.
Real Flight Simulator is a great option, and you can typically find it at the local Hobby Shop.
